Minesweeper asks you to clear safe cells while leaving the mines covered. A revealed number tells you how many mines touch that cell, including diagonally. Use overlapping clues to identify safe moves and place flags where you believe mines are located. The rules are compact, but careful deductions can connect information from several parts of a board.
Play classic boards offline on iPhone and iPad, use flags to mark mines and choose a difficulty for your next challenge. Automatic progress saving lets you put a game down and pick it up later. Version 2.1 includes Easy, Medium and Hard, with Expert also noted in the release updates.

What to compare when choosing a Minesweeper game
A timer measures elapsed time, while 3BV estimates a board’s minimum opening work under a particular definition. 3BV/s relates that work to time; efficiency depends on which actions the game counts. Those figures are useful only when the rules and measurement definitions are clear. Learn how those measures work in our guide, then see what is coming in the next update.
Keep logic and uncertainty separate
A numbered clue constrains the cells around it. If all possible arrangements consistent with the clues agree that a cell is safe, that is a deduction. If they do not, the situation can require more information or a guess. No-Guess mode is coming in a future update.
